About us

Watermark was established in 2005 to specialize in intaglio printmaking. A small studio, it worked with a select group of top contemporary New Zealand artists to produce limited edition prints.

The artists represented all have established practices and come from a wide range of disciplines. 

The artist worked closely with Watermark, drawing on plates prepared and etched by the studio. Once the plate was completed the edition was printed by Watermark and presented to the artist for signing.
